NEGATIVE RELATIONSHIPS

POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS

As mentioned previously, all of our problems and human difficulties are mostly a factor of our relationships with each other, our environment, and our ability to reason what is positive, healthy, and appropriate or mindfulness.

Positive, healthy, and appropriate

Positive relationships require knowledge, understanding, and awareness (mindfulness). One person in any group or country cannot do it alone.  Everyone in a relationship needs to have an understanding of the complexities of relationships as well as our personal difficulties. It is just as important to have an understanding of the negative side of life, the pitfalls in psychology, group dynamics, communication problems, male-female differences, religious and cultural differences, etc. to have a full appreciation and understanding of what doesn't work as well as what does work.

It is important to have a full understanding of how negative emotions can get in the way of our appreciation for each other and how negative emotions can prevent us from fully appreciating all that the earth has to offer.  All parties involved in all relationships must be willing to take on and pursue personal growth to add to the health of the individual, family, community, group, or country as a whole so that each person is personally responsible for their own behaviors and actions while recognizing all of the rights of others and earth.  Healthy relationships are built on a foundation of mutual respect, trust, and effective communication. Some tips to develop more positive and healthy relationships include below:

1. Accepting and celebrating differences is also appropriately respecting boundaries of interdependence.

2.  Healthy mindful communication involves effective mindful listening and speaking mind. (see communication)

 3. Giving people your time is a matter of mindful or healthy respect (see principles of respect). It is also mindful listening (above)

6. Self-learning

self-development is a complex and ongoing process that requires time, effort, and self-reflection. Researching our past experiences can help us gain insights into our strengths, weaknesses, values, and beliefs, which can help us with person growth.with personal

7. Equality is recognizing differences without discrimination or judgment and is also mindful of another’s right to exist with respect for boundaries. Avoiding judgment is helpful.

Respect

 8. Honoring oneself is having respect and confidence for oneself and subsequently recognizing that the same right of existence applies to all others.

Self-Learning

 9. Teamwork is usually a higher level of recognition of a collective process for the mutual benefit of one-for-all and all-for-one (see principles of respect). Examples are Human rights, deversitifcation, that is ecology/nature, Earth or Universe: a valid ecosystem or it may be a organized system such as the U.S. with a constitution or the U.N. where the mission is to maintain international peace and security and promote sustainable development, protect human rights, and uphold international law

10. Having mindful patience for communication errors, misunderstandings, and personal or relationship problems is helpful.

Meditation

 11. Having the intention to solve problems in a timely manner while avoiding, blame, accusations, denialism, or procrastination.

12. Avoiding emotional reactiveness such as blame, accusations or judgment

From my perspective, emotional reaction is the single biggest problem in any relationship. So, one must have a healthy understanding of their own emotions and emotional reactions in order to avoid confusion in relationships and to address all concerns in a positive, healthy, and appropriate manner. In addition, Healthline suggests that healthy relationships are best described as interdependent, meaning that partners rely on each other for mutual support but still maintain their identity as unique individuals. Partners in healthy relationships typically talk about the things going on in their lives: successes, failures, and everything in between. Communication goes both ways, and it’s important that both partners feel comfortable talking about any issues that come up  Trust involves honesty and integrity, and it also means feeling safe and comfortable with your partner Finally, a sense of yourself as a separate person is important in a healthy relationship
